100t DKK saved in less than a week was a pretty good start

At Dania Plast, we've spent recent months working to gain better transparency into our indirect costs. As part of that effort, we started using CostBits to get a structured overview of our purchasing.

What struck me from the start was how intuitive the system is once you get familiar with it. In a short time, I had a clear, prioritized overview of our spending categories – and it made it easy to see where there might be potential for optimization.

During one of my first reviews, I noticed that our cleaning expenses were higher than expected. It didn't require heavy analysis or a lengthy investigation process; it was actually just a matter of clicking through the relevant categories and thinking:

"Well, that's quite a bit of money..."

With that overview, I could quickly enter into dialogue with our supplier, and the result was a renegotiation of our agreement – with annual savings of approximately 100,000 kr.
